Cygnus Boats

ABOUT CYGNUS

The craft is built to owner’s specifications in a modern and approved boatyard in Ireland, with strict control and supervision, using the best of modern materials.

Although the hull is standard, very little else is. On both the FC and the Patrol the length of the superstructure can be chosen. The interior can be customised too. We are able to supply everything from plush craft to a rudimentary workboat, with a finish, layout and price to match. Hulls can be supplied at any stage of completion, from mouldings, partly fitted out or fully completed units.

Propulsion will normally be single or twin diesel engines, driving via shaft drive, stern drive, jet drive or surface-piercing propellers or water jets.

Safety is also an important factor moving around the vessel, with good handholds inside, high cockpit bulwarks and wide side decks with toe rails and a good pulpit rail.

Transom doors can be provided, making easy access from pontoon or dinghies, with optional swimming/boarding platform and ladder.

Vessels are built to CE or RCD Category 'B' rules, for leisure use and MCA/Seafish workboat code for commercial use. Some have been built under classification society supervision.

Feel free to contact us and find out what really sets us apart from the competition. We have a great craft, with the pedigree to ensure your investment is safe and secure, and will be a sought after classic for years to come.

‘Why settle for less if you know the Cygnus Cyclone and Patrol are the best?’

ABOUT MAQS (Dealer)

The owner of the yard purchased the moulds from Cygnus Marine when they stopped trading in 2007. MaQS-Maritime Quality Services BVBA agreed to form a partnership with the yard to act as sole dealer in Europe. With MaQS dealing with the commercial aspects, the yard can fully concentrate on the building process. The objective was to improve the concept further and to meet the ever-increasing quality demands from our customers. We are continuously looking at new materials and developments to implement them on our vessels to increase the standard.

We are committed to providing our clients with a boat ownership experience second to none. We will anticipate our clients' needs and help deliver quality products and services that improve their boating experience.

Our aim is to set us apart from usual boat agent by offering services, conditions and prices which are not normally available to the retail/private purchaser of new boats. We intend to make the buying process easy and pleasant for our clients, by attending to the enquiry in a courteous and professional manner from start to finish. We attend to enquiries promptly and receive prospective buyers at times suitable to them. We will assist in the registration, financing and transportation of the boat to its homeport. We offer our clients the best possible pricing, negotiated in advance. We take the hassle out of buying boats. Our aim is to ensure that our clients have trouble free boating. Our client referrers are our main assets. We intend to build and expand our business by extending our referrers base and through the word of mouth advertising by satisfied customers. We believe that if we assist enough clients to get what they want, they will help us to get what we want.

Customer satisfaction is our ultimate goal.

Please contact us and we will be glad to develop your project within your budget.
